From Me to You

With a passion for connecting with others, and the lived experience of healing through my own recovery, I embarked on a journey to become a psychotherapist and help others who felt as lost as I did. If you are feeling confused, frustrated or hopeless about the way you are living, please know there is hope.

In my sessions I strive to foster a safe and supportive environment where you can explore your thoughts and emotions, and focus on working through the elements that keep you relying on food or substances to cope.

Having worked in treatment settings, I have had the privilege of meeting a diverse range of people, each facing unique challenges in their lives. My passion for helping dismantle internalized social norms that keep us unwell has lead to my specialization in working with addictions and eating disorders as well as focusing on social action.

Although it seems unbelievable right now, there is hope for healing. There is wonderful freedom on the other side of pain.

My Values

I believe in fostering a sanctuary of healing, growth, and resilience. My core values—support, safety, and continued education—serve as the guiding pillars of my therapeutic journey with you.

Safety

01

Your emotional safety is paramount. Within the space of my practice, you'll find that vulnerability is honored and confidentiality is sacred. I strive to create an environment where you can explore your innermost thoughts and feelings with confidence, knowing that you are in a space free from harm or intrusion. Trust is nurtured, allowing you to delve into the depths of your self with the assurance that you are protected and supported every step of the way.

I BELIEVE

all people deserve support

Perinatal struggles, eating and mood disorders, and addiction are experiences that affect some people deeply. In my practice, I embrace an affirming, open, and supportive approach that welcomes individuals of all genders, sexual orientations (LGBTQ+ affirming), backgrounds, ethnicities (anti-racist), and religious beliefs. I am committed to honoring and respecting your unique perspectives while providing a nurturing environment for understanding and personal growth.

I advocate for the destigmatization of mental health challenges and believe in reframing the human experience to remove unnecessary pathologizing.

A Little Bit About Me

When I’m not seeing clients, I find joy and inspiration in the simple pleasures of life. You'll often find me with my nose buried in a book or outside on a hike or a walk.

But perhaps my greatest joy comes from my role as a parent to two wonderful kids. They remind me daily of the importance of connection, resilience, and embracing the beauty of each moment.
